Eco Emi Bonus Box - Jan 2012

Eco Emi is a green product sampler service. Every month, for $15, members receive between five and ten samples of organic makeup, skincare, candles, food, and/or other items.

Every so often, they have a "bonus box" full of extra items leftover from previous boxes on sale. I was lucky enough to get the one recently on offer (they go super quick!). This was sold for $14.
Everything is always nicely packaged

My box contained:
  • Maggie's Socks
  • Black Olive Bath Salts by Verdura Botanica
  • Dr. Hauschka Blackthorn Body Wash
  • Gin Gins Boost Candies by The Ginger People
  •  john masters organics blood orange & vanilla body wash
  • naturally it's clean Floors by Enzyme Fresh Home
  • Neuma hair styling products (blow dry lotion, smoothing creme, and style texturizer)
  • WYK candle in Whispering Pine
  • Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques lip moisturizer
  • john masters organics jojoba & ginseng exfoliating face cleanser
  • SheaTerra Organics Rose Hips Black Soap Deep Pore Facial Soap & Mask
  • VerMints in CinnaMint
  • Organic Hojicha Chai Roasted Green Tea with Spices
  • Dr. Hauschka Lavender Bath
  • Artisana Raw Coconut Oil
I love getting sample sizes because I get to try out a bunch of new things and I don't feel bad about having tons of stuff around that I know I'll never use up.

They're going to announce the sale of another Bonus Box later this week on their facebook page, so check it out if you'd like to grab it!

    1. They do! However, it is twice as expensive for international members:

Oh,do you mean the shipping cost or they double product price for international members?

    3. The cost of shipping is included in the cost of the box. Each box costs $15 for US members and $30 for international ones. I'm guessing it's mostly to cover extra shipping costs, but I'm not sure :)

  2. I have yet to subscribe to these boxes, we have one company doing an all natural box in the UK. I hear good things about it. Like you say it's nice to sample and not feel bad about collecting tons of beauty products.

    1. If you do subscribe, please post your boxes! It would be fun to see what natural products you guys have in the UK (in addition to the ones you post on your blog) :)

  3. I'm never sure if Eco Emi is worth the extra international shipping, but I've considered signing up so many times! It looks like you got some great things.

    Here's a tag, if you're interested :) http://naturallabeauty.blogspot.com/2012/01/tag-11-random-things-about-me.html

    1. Yes, it would irk me to pay more for the same thing. I came across a Canadian subscription service that contains "handmade" products - it seems that most/some of the products they include are eco-friendly.
